Mot Type 1

MOT Type 1 is a bulk fill and levelling material. Ideal as a base course for drives, paths, and construction projects. It is a crushed carboniferous limestone from 70mm to dust. This provides a foundation for other layers above it such as gravel when laying down pathways, driveways and ponds.

Product uses

• Once MOT Type 1 is laid and compact, a membrane can then be placed on top before laying down the decorative aggregate of your choice or paving.

• It helps drain water effectively once landscaping or construction work is complete.

• Used in highway construction, it's an excellent base layer underneath tarmac for carriageways.
